About Louise Whitnall
Meet Louise Whitnall, an accredited BACP Psychotherapist with more than two decades of expertise in the realm of therapeutic work, with a focus on empowering women. Holding a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy, Louise has dedicated her professional journey to delving into the complexities of the human mind.
Louise’s therapeutic approach has undergone a remarkable evolution throughout her 25-year career. Initially, she immersed herself in the psychological realm, exploring the depths of the human psyche. A decade ago, her path took a transformative turn as she embraced mindfulness as a guiding philosophy and became a teacher in this discipline. This expansion allowed her to help individuals connect with their thoughts, feelings, and the subsequent actions that stem from them, fostering a more profound understanding of their inner world.
On a personal note, Louise intimately understands the multifaceted stages of menopause. Having experienced the confusion, fear, and lack of balance that can often accompany this natural life transition, she empathises deeply with the challenges it poses. In a time when discussing menopause was often considered taboo, women were left to navigate this journey in solitude. However, times are changing, and Louise is at the forefront of this shift. She firmly believes that menopause deserves to be celebrated, and she has found a path to equanimity, compassion, and clarity, which she graciously shares with others. Her mission is to support individuals in evolving through this challenging life stage, helping them cultivate more balanced, connected, and meaningful lives.
